APPLICATIONS

Typical applications

  • Caustic purification and reuse
  • Alkaline mother liquor concentration
  • High-pH process fractionation
  • Alkaline waste reduction

SELECTION

Validate with your feed

Validation should cover alkali type, concentration, temperature, salinity and organics.

Testing & scale-up

OPERATION

Operating guidance

  1. Remove oxidants

Remove free chlorine and oxidants; use softened or RO water for cleaning.

  2. Confirm high-caustic limits

Validate higher concentration, temperature or extended caustic operation before scale-up.

  3. Store wet and sealed

Do not dry the element; store sealed at 4–30°C with a suitable preservative.
